Water Wells and Boreholes

Ijraʿāt ʿUthmān bin ʿAffān رضي الله عنه

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Alḥamdulillāh, MUBZ Relief has facilitated over 200 water facilities across South Africa and internationally. Locally, projects span the Western Cape, Mpumalanga, North West, and Gauteng. Internationally, our wells have reached Mozambique, Bangladesh, Malawi, Kenya, and Sri Lanka.

Access to clean water restores dignity, promotes health, and eases the daily struggles of communities. By contributing to this project, you become part of a legacy of Ṣadaqah Jāriyah — an ongoing charity that benefits generations to come.

South Africa Borehole Projects

In South Africa, many communities — especially those in rural areas — face water shortages that affect daily life, Masājid, Madāris, and schools. A borehole provides not only clean water but also reduces the running costs of community centres and ensures sustainability.

Unlike international projects, the cost of boreholes in South Africa fluctuates depending on the location, water table depth, and geological conditions.
